Singer songwriting Andrew McSweeney, described as having the voice of an angel, Andrew has been writing songs and music since he was a teenager. He has released seven albums with various lineups, performed and wrote as part of the Kutcha Edwards band, and has had a track cut by Daryl Braithwaite! Current releases are Mountain Song by Andrew McSweeney & The Wishing Horse, and Sangīta Volume 1, by Dipika Delmenico & Andrew. Andrew is also the Director of The School of Loving Music, an arts hub located in the heart of North Melbourne, where he teaches music to children and adults who are at all stages of their musical education.

Andrew McSweeney with his new band The Wishing Horse deliver a powerful debut album, Mountain Song. Penned over the past few years and through journeys both inward and outward, Mountain Song combines accomplished songwriting with nuanced arrangements and a bold production style to produce an album which sounds fresh and delivers a depth of meaning in every track.
Mountain Song is an album that we need right now, crafted from and for these times. “I am singing for peace. Peace within myself, peace in my community and for our environment. World peace begins within each individual, that’s really the inspiration for this record and for my music from here onwards.”
The Wishing Horse band comprises producer/pianist Michael Ingvarson (Babba), with Glen King (Paul Kelly, Kate Ceberano) on percussion and John Fleming (Scared Weird Little Guys) on lead guitar. Sweet precise harmonies from Gabriella Favoretto (Babba) and rounded out with Kelly Billingham (the Blown Cones) on bass.

…also i listened to the recordings that you sent for the forthcoming album and i have to say that i…I thought I was gonna like hear this story. I thought this story was going to unfold.
